Parco completes a new eight-charger hub on the A12

Proudly working for InstaVolt, the UK’s largest and most reliable public EV rapid charging network, Parco has built and commissioned a brand new site in Saxmundham, Suffolk.

Situated along the A12 from Ipswich to Lowestoft, at Friday Street Farm, a large farm shop and café, new infrastructure and eight rapid chargers have been installed offering EV drivers a place to relax and shop whilst charging.

The site features two fully accessible bays, compliant with BSI PAS1899 guidelines for charger accessibility, with 1.2m of additional space on either side of and at each end of the parking bay. The chargers are all installed flush to the ground and these chargers have been designed with lower screens and an improved cable management system to allow for easier manoeuvrability. The site also features a 7.2m long bay to accommodate charging for larger vehicles such as vans and trailers.
